Description
We're proud to once again be collaborating with Haley Strategic Partners on one of the most unique fighting blades to ever hit the market – the Darter! Combining Travis Haley’s tactical experience and expertise with Toor’s premium bladesmithing capabilities, this knife features iconic reverse serrations on the spine, which offer an extremely sharp solution to fighting with the back of the knife while avoiding the restrictions on a double-edged blade.
Constructed out of CPM M4 steel and heat-treated to approximately 60 Rockwell, the Darter is stout enough to tackle any task. This new variant of the knife is fitted with a Black G10 handle and Red liners, and it's machined with a texture to match the Darter Dragonfly’s wing pattern, while simultaneously providing excellent grip when operating in wet conditions.
The knife’s midsize permits easy placement on your gear without compromising real estate, and each blade includes a Black Toor Knives FlexTech KYDEX® sheath, featuring a retention adjustability screw and friction offset to reduce blade rattle inside the sheath. Complementing the sheath is mounting hardware and an UltiClip Slim 3.3 mount and rounding out the Darter package is a laser-cut loop which has been designed to sandwich your sheath into your gear.
Several other key features of this blade include a retention lanyard hole, thumb jimping on the spine and butt end of the blade, stainless steel torx handle screws, a Black KG Gunkote spray finish, and both companies' logos laser-engraved on the blade. Last, but not least, every single Darter is finished with an individual serial number marking a piece of history from this iconic partnership.
These knives are tools of a warrior, works of art, and extremely collectible.

This knife is well built, extremely durable and very sharp. It’s the right size for my hand and easily handles well if it is needed to be deployed. With the different waysI can carry this blade and versatile it is a well built and durable blade. I grantee that I will be adding this company to my equipment list.
Very well made knife with good dynamics the angles leading to the blade and spine allow for nearly no resistance when moving the blade as well as a well molded handle made from a durable G10 handle grip with indentations to help with griping in water or sweat. The butt of the blade also has a window breaker for emergency escape with the blade being sharp enough to cut through seatbelts.

This thing is scary sharp, beats a pointy stick any day. I chose this style as it seemed most conducive for preforming emergency medical procedures. (TEMS medic) The blade is small enough to precisely control but large enough to get the job done.
Had some build ups on the finish that chipped off with a wag of the finger. Otherwise very solid construction and feel. I take care of my things regularly so not too concerned with longevity of the finish, but certainly of note.
Excellent tactical knife for defense. It came razor sharp. I like that Toor Knives have a little heft. In comparison, MKCs are nice, sharp blades, but a little thin for me.

I do like the utility of the saw on the spine, won't be used much, but if I need the saw I'll have it.

Very cool tactical blade. Fit and finish is great. I wanted a made in t he USA blade, using USA materials. It's a bonus that it's a US military veteran owned and operated company. Designed for the men and women serving in the field abroad and domestically. As a retired LEO of almost 30 years I approve of this product.

Knife arrived today. Love the way it feels in the hand. Razor sharp out of box and the included pocket clip for the sheath works very well. The serrations on the back look useful for cutting through thicker materials. I appreciate the serrations not being razor sharp as you can still push your thumb on them to apply extra force to the edge. Handle feels natural, i appreciate the end of the handle acting as a sort of grip retainer/glass breaker as well.
When I first opened the box i was concerned it would be too big for pocket carry but as long as you're not tucking your shirt in, it's perfectly concealable.
Excellent tool so far. We'll see how long the edge lasts CPM M4.
You definitely need to pull up with some force for the knife to come out of pocket with the clip but I've found turning the knife handle inwards to the right(assuming you carry left pocket) and pulling out makes the deployment much more fluid.
You can definitely pull straight up but that clip will pull your pocket up with it if you're wearing looser jeans. Pulling up for me also makes my clip flashlight come off nearly so side deployment is the way to go.
