Meet the Hard Drive

The pocket prybar that redefines everyday utility. Designed and built in the USA from premium titanium, this compact 5-inch tool delivers unmatched strength in a featherweight 1.3-ounce frame. Whether you're breaching boxes, scraping, prying, or backing yourself up when things get real, the Hard Drive is your mission-ready solution.

With a robust 0.258" thickness and stainless steel hardware, this tool is engineered for relentless abuse while maintaining a sleek, pocket-friendly profile. The integrated stainless steel pocket clip keeps it secure and ready for fast deployment, no flashy gimmicks, just functional excellence.

We stripped away the fluff and focused on what matters: raw utility, minimal carry weight, and bombproof durability.

No blade, no rules, just straight-up performance. Use it. Abuse it. Trust it.

This is an easy to carry tool that can be used in split second defense scenarios. Not every self-defense situation calls for a blade. The tool is designed for those moments in the escalation of force where you want a strong deterrent, giving individuals an option to stand their ground and create space, while remaining less lethal and responsible. It offers confidence and control without the psychological or legal weight of pulling a knife.

Everyday Carry

If you are looking for a reliable blade or tool to tackle daily tasks while maintaining a small footprint, keep an eye out for this designator. From slicing up MRE's to cutting open all of your Toor Knives packages, these blades and tools are a perfect addition to your arsenal.

Concealable

Blades and tools associated with this symbol are designed specifically for clandestine and concealable applications. Whether it's a night out on the town or a casual weekend with the family, this designation will ensure your blade is always carried out of sight.

Compact titanium pry bar praised for its lightweight yet durable design. Customers said it's "amazingly strong and versatile" and perfect for EDC. Most love its pocket-friendly size and solid construction. Some noted the tip could be sharper for precise work, and a few experienced uneven bevels or shipping delays.

  • Amazingly strong and versatile
  • A quality piece, solid and sticks to my shirt collar well
  • Great Quality. Sturdy clip. Light weight and strong.

New favorite EDC tool

Great all around tool. I use it to open packages I don’t want to possibly cut with a knife, pry into hard plastic, or even punch a few drill marks into wood and dimple metal in a pinch. Love it!!

I've purchased 4 of the hard drive

I've purchased 4 of the hard drive. Two the first time. I gave one to my awesome neighbor and kept one. Then my wife stole mine. Bought two more one for myself and one for my brother in law. Both were stolen by the nieces.. I guess I shoulda bought a couple more. Great people at Toor! I've purchased a knife or two but the hard drive might be a xmas gift for a couple folks (me, I'm a couple folks).

This tool is great for jobs that you just need to carry something smaller than a crowbar. Amazingly strong and versatile

A pretty good pry bar

A quality piece and I've already pried a few things since receiving it in the mail. It feels good in the hand although some with larger mitts might find this small for their tastes. The clip, despite not being titanium, is solid and sticks to my shirt collar well as I tend to carry this as sort of a neck-carried implement. It doesn't really scratch with use but if you're using it as a display piece instead of actual EDC, then this probably isn't for you. My only qualm is that the tip doesn't have the chiseled edge like in the product photos. I suspect that this change is because if it's considered a chisel vs a pry bar, then a chisel is technically a type of blade and some jurisdictions may consider that you're carrying a blade and not a pry bar. I was hoping to do more precise prying, like trying to wedge the tip underneath a stubborn soda can tab or staples, but the thickness they left it at is too thick. Other than that, a good (enough) product.

I cannot rate it because I haven't received it. Look at this tracking. 420077289300110597204832683265. I have written two emails to you, and I have not received one acknowledgment regarding my question about accessing the insurance in case this package becomes irretrievably lost.

I gave it one star because I haven't received it yet

I gave it one star because I haven't received it yet. If you check the tracking, it has been all over the east coast. I have contacted you by email about this two times with no response. I wanted to know what I have to do to use the Route insurance for this order so I could replace it in the case of the postal system eating the package.

What I'm guessing you need to know: The Hard Drive is a straightforward pry bar with a pocket clip. It has a beveled tip because what good pry bar would not have that? It is pointy enough to perhaps be deployed in different scenarios besides "prying." Let's leave it at that. It's pointy. That may also be a disadvantage to pocket wear unless you get a cover for it or have deep pockets as in fabric deep and not $$ deep. I know it's going to surprise me in situations where it will bail me out.

What you ALSO need to know: Having my order come to fruition was a real pain in the behind. It was also protracted. BUT. A shout out to Toor's Brand Equipment Manager, Gary, who toiled tirelessly to recover the bumpy parts of the process to make sure I'd be satisfied with the order and not feel as though I'd been "got." When it appeared that on top of everything else, the order might have been lost in the mail, he assured me he'd make sure that I got sent another pair, if needs be. Thankfully, that did not happen, but he calmed my nerves considerably and there's not anything else I could've asked for.

Finally, a maker with the original idea of making a prybar that is just a prybar. Not a hex tool bottle opening magnetic multitool. Thanks Gary and the team at Toor

Great little pocket prybar. The tip was a bit too small for my needs, so I reground it into more of a flathead, which makes it much more useful at work. I’ve carried a pocket prybar/flathead every day for over two years, and it’s one of my most-used EDC tools. This one is lightweight and practically disappears in the pocket—so much so that I keep reaching to make sure it’s still there. I’m really enjoying carrying and using it!”

Great pocket utility tool. Use it for all the tough pry wedge work my knife shouldn’t be doing when I don’t have tools.
