TKOR-4.5 SERE Ranger Green
Description
Toor Knives × Onward Research Collaboration
When everything goes sideways, your blade becomes more than a tool; it becomes your lifeline. The TKOR-4.5 SERE was created from that understanding. Developed jointly by Toor Knives and Onward Research, this fixed blade was designed around the uncompromising demands of SERE training (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) for those who operate at the edge of control. This partnership makes sense at every level.
Toor Knives, born from the mindset of American warfighters, brings its San Diego-based precision manufacturing and lifetime-guaranteed hard-use craftsmanship. Every knife is made under the flag, by people who’ve carried blades for real.
Onward Research, founded on the principle that good gear should be simple, scalable, and purpose-driven, builds modular systems designed for those who live and train with intent. Their philosophy, refine, never overcomplicate, aligns perfectly with Toor’s mission-ready ethos.
Together, the brands created a knife that bridges the gap between field craft and combat readiness, a tool you can depend on when survival isn’t theoretical.

About this blade
The TKOR-4.5 SERE was developed as a compact, mission-ready fixed blade optimized for SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) operations. Designed in collaboration between Toor Knives and Onward Research, the project combines Toor’s precision U.S. manufacturing and veteran-built craftsmanship with Onward’s field-informed approach to simple, functional equipment.
Mission-Driven Performance
Every design element was purpose-driven. The 4.5-inch CPM M4 blade provides a balance of reach, control, and cutting power, with a 0.175-inch thickness for strength and a 59-61 HRC hardness for long-lasting edge retention. The 5.3-inch G10 handle offers a secure grip in wet or gloved conditions, while the full-tang construction ensures structural integrity under heavy use. A forward balance point enhances tip control and cutting efficiency, keeping the knife neutral in hand for multiple grip positions.
Field-Serviceable Hardware & Modular Carry System
With an overall length of 9.8 inches and a weight of 7.4 ounces, the TKOR-7 SERE maintains portability without sacrificing capability. Coated stainless hardware and T15 fasteners allow field serviceability, and the knife ships with horizontal belt loops for discreet, stable carry across various loadouts.
American Manufacturing
Built entirely in the USA at Toor’s San Diego facility, the TKOR-4.5 SERE reflects both brands’ shared commitment to American manufacturing and performance under pressure. The design intent is clear: produce a dependable, purpose-built blade capable of enduring the extremes of survival and evasion environments, a tool designed to perform when failure is not an option.
