The Darter Tanto in Disruptive Grey is the latest product in our groundbreaking collaboration with Haley Strategic Partners! The alliance between the two brands began in 2020 and combines Travis Haley’s tactical expertise with Toor Knives’ premium bladesmithing capabilities.
This blade is a natural evolution of the original Standard variant and provides operators with another mission-ready option for their kits. Made from the highest quality CPM M4 steel, the Darter Tanto is a premium, versatile blade that can withstand heavy use and piercing tasks, making it ideal for tactical situations where knife reliability is crucial.
Highlights of The Darter Tanto include the now iconic reverse serrations on the spine, which offer an extremely sharp solution to fighting with the back of the knife. Additionally, the tanto blade shape provides strength and durability, and the sharp, angular tip is excellent for piercing through tough materials. Its Grey G10 handle with Red liner is machined with a texture to match the iconic Haley Strategic dragonfly wing pattern, while also offering excellent grip when wet.
Lastly, a retention lanyard hole, thumb jimping on the spine and butt end of the blade, stainless steel Torx handle screws, Black KG GunKote spray finish and both companies’ logos laser engraved on the blade help ensure that The Darter Tanto Disruptive Grey not only looks good, but that it’s strong enough to tackle any task.
The Darter Tanto Disruptive Grey includes a Black Toor Knives Kydex® sheath with a retention adjustability screw and friction offset to reduce blade rattle inside the sheath. Included with the sheath is all mounting hardware as well as an UltiClip Slim 3.3 mount.

Customers praised this defensive EDC for its "excellent quality" and razor-sharp edge out of the box. Most described it as "perfection" with a comfortable grip, solid construction, and nice serrated option. However, some reported quality control issues with dull edges requiring sharpening, and one noted a missing sheath clip. A few felt the knife was unbalanced and heavy.

Excellent quality as always! TOOR makes great knives. This is my favorite knife from them so far. It fits in the hand nicely, comes out of the box sharp, and has a good grip. I also appreciate the serrated section and I wish more of their knives came with a serrated option. Keep up the good work TOOR!

Fit and finish are great, blade is sharp and it is a good looking knife. I have carried it in my pocket every day since I have had it and never know its there. It's crazy but I like to take it out and just admire it sometimes, great design.
Robust well made knife that performs well and stylish at the same time. After a week of heavy use it still maintained a sharp edge. I will be equipping the whole crew with this knife due to the quality and performance.
I can’t really speak highly enough of this knife, it’s the perfect size, it just feels solid and substantial but light at the same time if that makes sense. I like having some kind of edge on the spine without necessarily being double edged so this one is perfect. I ordered the disruptive grey and it’s actually grey, if you see some of the pictures the scales look really light like almost white, but it’s definitely darker in person. Including the Frog lube is a nice touch and the Utiliclip gives you tons of options for carrying. Really pleased and and already have my eye on another one.
Pretty underwhelming for the price point. I would at least expect a sheath that fits securely and does not allow the blade to rattle even when the tension is adjusted to the max.

Good looking knife. Packaging 10/10 only complaint is no good way to horizontal carry on a belt with the provided sheath

The Darter Tanto knife looks great but wouldn't cut paper. The edge was rolled over. Didn't think I would have to sharpen a high end $350 knife before I could use it. This is the first higher end knife I have bought and I'm not very happy! I had a couple of other TOOR knives on my wish list, but after this I will be going with a different brand.
