Pin-Up Specter

One of the finest items I’ve ever purchased. It fits snug on my hip. I can wear it all day and barely notice it’s there. If you are on the fence about purchasing a knife, just do it. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent blade, the ulti-clip came broken unfortunately and did not feel like going through the return process for a 13$ clip. But the blade is nice, sheath isn’t the best fit, doesn’t have that “snap” when it’s fully inside like most quality blades and sheaths.

Super high quality. Bought knives off Amazon before and decided to splurge for the real deal. Man what a difference. I think this thing is unbreakable. I would trust it in any situation. Will buy more Toor knives now.

The Specter is one of the finest daggers I've ever had. Balance is perfect, coating is beautiful, and the craftsmanship is beyond expectation.

Excellent knife. The quality is apparent right out of the box and it’s razor sharp and ready to use. All around would recommend Toor knives.

The fit and finish on my Specter is excellent, this is a great knife, one that will be around for a very long time. I will be buying more Toor knives for sure, super happy

Well machined dagger. Unique handle. I would like to see a wood handle. A dark color wood, rosewood or ebony, with the cool texture carved into it.

Shaved a nice patch of arm hair right out of the box.

I really like this dagger. The heft and balance feel good. The design is aesthetically pleasing. The sheath is a reasonable size and the knife fits tight while still easy enough to remove. The grip feels good. I worry about the fine point tip. But so far it has held up well. Super sharp.

I don’t write reviews. Ever. But Toor’s email asked so here I am. The knife has what it takes to be a great tool. It feels great in the hand and if needed would get the job done despite its flaw. However the grinds were so terrible I can’t bring myself to give it more than 2 stars. This is a dagger. The bevels should meet at the tip. On one side the bevel is so off center it ends nearly an 1/8th of an inch off to one side of the blade. It’s so obvious I noticed it before even getting it out of the box. It’s not possible that someone grinding it wouldn’t have noticed. Maybe it was “good enough” for them but it’s just not acceptable for a $300 knife. I enjoy supporting American businesses and don’t mind paying extra for it but unfortunately it seems like a lot of the reviews about QC at Toor are correct. I’ll be sticking with MKC in the future

Ecstatic to say the least! Super happy with the full tang grip, feels well balanced, and slim clip works great with it. Barely notice that it's even there on my inseam 3 o'clock. I barely notice an imprint with just a t-shirt and now that it's autumn in New England, the flannel or hoodie completely covers it's imprint. The engraving on it worked out great and is now my EDC I debated just having on display. Really good quality craftsmanship, worth every penny to add to my collection. I had to brag about it to a lot of my veteran buds and co-workers that appreciate this kind of thing.

This is a big, heavy knife! It was much larger than I imagined - it seems to be Toor's take on a Fairbairn type knife, and I think it's a very good version. It is still small enough to EDC if you want, because the blade is only about 4.5", but it would be on the upper end of what you would plausibly want to EDC. I recommend Ulticlip inside the waistband for this, but you could probably scout carry it if you keep the sheath tight.

In terms of feel, it is similar to a Fairbairn dagger, which I really like. The weight is in the hand much more than it is in the blade, so it moves more smoothly than you would expect for this heavy of a blade. The quillons are not huge but they will keep your hand from sliding onto the knife.

Since I am writing a five paragraph essay here, I think this is an outstanding knife for its purpose, but if I were trying to improve it, I would take off the lanyard attachment at the end of the handle. I don't really feel like that many people are going to put a lanyard on this thing, and there is PLENTY of knife to get ahold of without a lanyard.

I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a large, defensive knife that you can actually carry. I would recommend having a PM2 or something in your pocket to open boxes, this thing is unmistakably a weapon and will draw a large amount of probably unwanted attention if you're using it for or at work.

Nice knife. Well made, I like the everything about it! Only reason I docked a star was due to the sheath not having as positive of click in place as I'd prefer. Tried tightening the retention screw but it has a negative effect. Regardless its good enough and the blade itself is aces with regards to form and fit. Haven't been rough on it to gauge durability.... but it is a dagger and I think it is up for its designed task.

This is a significantly bigger, wider blade than I thought! It is very heavy and solid feeling, and extremely well made. The weight sits in the hand - the balance is very much like a Fairbairn-Sykes type dagger. The sheath is great. The sheathed blade is just small enough to thrown on an ulticlip and carry inside the waistband. I think it would also be an appropriate choice for military kit or carry.
