Toor Knives started in a backyard, with a dream and some steel. Building a knife to share with our friends and colleagues in the military, ensuring they could have something functional and unique on their kit.
Throughout the years we’ve designed, built, redesigned, and built again. Creating tools WE wanted and listened to the feedback of our amazing customers. We have built a reputation, and are extremely grateful for those who stand with us, for providing hard-use blades in the tactical and outdoor space. It’s more than fixed blades these days, creating things from folders, tools, and axes. The Inspiration Behind Our Axes
Our journey into axes was not a leap but a natural progression. Recognizing the need for high-quality axes in both tactical and outdoor spaces, we embarked on this new challenge. Each axe we design is a response to the demands of our customers, many of whom serve in challenging environments that require reliable and versatile tools. From breachers in the heat of battle, to everyday camp goers who need to chop some wood, we try to make the best version of an axe we can today.
Design and Craftsmanship
The Tomahawk
Our full-size Tomahawk is a testament to our commitment to innovation. Designed as a belt-mounted breaching tool, it is crafted to deliver maximum impact force. The head, where most of the weight is concentrated, features a tapered flat grind for a razor-sharp edge. The curved top of the blade aids in prying, while the pointed rear end serves as an efficient breaching and prying tool. The double recurve handle of the Tomahawk is a unique feature, providing comfort whether gripped at the bottom or near the head. Made with textured G10 material and finished with Black Oxide for durability, this Tomahawk is a blend of functionality and rugged beauty. It's not just a tool; it's a piece of craftsmanship, complete with individual serial numbers.
The F13 Tommy
The F13 Tommy, our nod to the legendary "Filthy Thirteen" of the 101st Airborne Division. This axe is a modern twist on traditional Native American Tomahawks. It features a tactical design with a 90-degree point at the head, perfect for breaching. The extended spike on the rear end and the 7.0” handle, designed for a two-handed grip, make it an indispensable tool for striking with precision and power. The F13 Tommy's G10 handle is intricately textured for a superior grip, and the entire axe is coated with a corrosion-resistant Black Oxide finish. Compact, lightweight, and equipped with a KYDEX® sheath, the F13 Tommy is as practical as it is potent, embodying the spirit of the Filthy Thirteen.
