Made in the USA
Made in the USA Knives, Built Under the Flag
Toor Knives builds hard-use knives made in the USA for people who expect their gear to perform when it matters. Founded by former U.S. Marine Connor Toor and manufactured in San Diego, California, Toor exists to create dependable American made knives, tactical knives, fixed blade knives, folding knives, and everyday carry tools without outsourcing the standard.
We are veteran-founded, veteran-run, and committed to American manufacturing because we believe the best tools are built close to the people who use them. Every Toor knife starts with purpose, moves through our in-house manufacturing process, and leaves our shop with the same expectation: it must be ready to carry, ready to work, and ready for real use.
Veteran-owned. Made in America. Built to carry.
Why Toor Knives Are Made in the United States
Toor Knives was born from frustration. Connor Toor saw Marines relying on mass-produced knives that were not designed for mission-specific tasks, while higher-end blades often came with extreme price tags and long production times. Instead of accepting that standard, he built a forge in his backyard and started making his own.
What began with a hammer, anvil, and firsthand military experience has grown into a full American manufacturing operation in San Diego. Today, Toor Knives designs, machines, grinds, finishes, assembles, inspects, and ships purpose-built blades from our own facility.
We make knives in the United States because quality is easier to control when the work happens under one roof. Steel selection, heat treat, edge geometry, handle ergonomics, sheath retention, hardware, and finishing all matter. When a knife is trusted by military personnel, law enforcement, first responders, hunters, outdoorsmen, tradesmen, and everyday carriers, every detail has to earn its place.
Our Mission: Build Better Tools, Create American Jobs
Our mission is simple: build dependable knives made in America while creating skilled domestic jobs and supporting the people who serve, work, hunt, carry, and rely on their tools every day.
Toor Knives was not started to make display pieces. We build for people who use what they carry. That belief shapes everything we make, from compact concealed carry knives and EDC knives to tactical fixed blades, hunting knives, survival knives, and mission-ready blades built for demanding environments.
We are people oriented, process focused, and product driven. That is not a tagline for us. It is how we decide what to build, how to build it, and whether it deserves the Toor name.
Under The Flag
Built Under the Flag
Inside our San Diego manufacturing facility, one flag hangs over the shop. That flag represents more than where our knives are made. It represents the standard we choose to work under.
Under the Flag is our commitment to American manufacturing, domestic jobs, veteran craftsmanship, and continual service. Many members of our team have worn the flag in uniform. Today, that same mindset carries into the blades we build for those still serving, those protecting their communities, and those who demand more from their gear.
Every blade that leaves Toor Knives carries that responsibility with it. From our hands to yours.
What Makes a Toor Knife Different?
A Toor knife is built around use first. Every feature has a reason. Every material has a purpose. Nothing is added just to look good on a spec sheet.
Our knives are made for real-world carry and real-world work. That means we focus on the details that matter most:
- Steel selection for strength, edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance.
- Heat treatment built around the intended use of the blade.
- Blade geometry that supports cutting, piercing, field use, utility, and control.
- Handle ergonomics designed for grip, indexing, retention, and comfort.
- Sheath systems and carry options built around how people actually move.
- Hardware, fit, and finishing that meet the expectations of American-made gear.
Whether you are searching for the best work knife, best combat knives, a fixed blade knife for hard use, or an everyday carry (EDC) knife for daily tasks, the Toor standard stays the same: build it right or do not build it.
Made in San Diego, California
Toor Knives manufactures in San Diego, California, Connor Toor’s hometown. Keeping production here allows us to stay close to the process, close to the team, and close to the standard.
We do not believe quality is something you can delegate overseas. By manufacturing in-house, we maintain control over the steps that matter most and continue investing in American labor, American skill, and American pride.
For customers searching for knives made in USA, Toor exists to answer that search with more than a claim. We answer it with a shop, a team, a process, and a blade built under one roof.
Built for the People Who Carry Them
Toor Knives are trusted by people who do not have time for gear that almost works. Our blades are carried by military personnel, law enforcement, first responders, prepared citizens, hunters, outdoorsmen, overlanders, ranchers, tradesmen, and everyday carriers.
Our lineup includes compact EDC knives, low-profile concealed carry knives, tactical knives, fixed blade knives, folding pocket knives, survival knives, hunting knives, and purpose-built blades designed for specific use cases. Some are built for discreet carry. Some are built for field work. Some are built for duty. All of them are built with the same question in mind: Would we carry this ourselves?
If the answer is no, it does not leave the shop.
How to Choose the Right Toor Knife
Choosing the right knife starts with how you plan to carry and use it.
For everyday carry, look for a compact EDC knife or folding pocket knife that balances blade size, weight, pocket comfort, and daily utility.
For tactical and duty use, consider a fixed blade knife with strong retention, secure grip, fast access, and a blade profile built for hard use.
For hunting and outdoor use, look for hunting knives, skinning knife options, or survival knife designs with practical blade geometry, comfortable handles, and materials that can handle field conditions.
For concealed carry, focus on size, sheath design, access, retention, and how the knife fits your body, belt, kit, or daily carry setup.
For collectors and premium users, explore limited runs, special materials, custom knives, and collaborations that bring unique finishes, steels, handle materials, and design stories into the Toor lineup.
No matter the category, the goal is the same: choose the knife that fits the job, fits your hand, and fits the way you carry.
